Specifically engineered for the removal of lightweight residue and tailing pulp during the coarse screening process, this float purger stands out as a crucial component.
Featuring an inverted cone casing, this float purger's concave top creates a powerful vortex, generating a low-pressure area at the top. This mechanism effectively gathers and removes light impurities while guiding heavy impurities to the outer vortex via centrifugal force. These heavy impurities settle in the groove outside the screen plate and are continuously expelled from the unit.

Working principle

 

The rotor's pulp outflow chamber is elevated above the shell's undersurface, forming a low-pressure areaaround the rotor to gather heavy impurities.
Under centrifugal force, the heavyimpurities are propelled to the outermost part of the eddy and settle in thegroove positionedoutside the sieve plate for discharge.
This process reduces wear on the cutter and sieve plate, significantly extending their service life.
